Iceland Adventures

LakeGlacier tour, Northern lights hunt, Golden Circle Tour, and Fontana Experience

Awe, Iceland! There are so many things to do and see in Iceland you will want to plan 7-10 days to truly enjoy them all. I started by driving the Golden Circle with stops along the south end and finished a few days later in the north. The Northern Lights must be one of your goals. I enjoyed time in the Vatnajökull National Park, the Skógafoss, and Gullfoss (waterfalls), Westfjords Heritage Museum, the Langjökull glacier & caves, and the Mývatn Nature Baths. The Blue Lagoon was nice as well but not as natural as some other baths.

Andalusa Spain Cycling Tour

Andalusia HarborThe land of Bullfights, tapas, fiestas, and flamenco (folk music) are waiting for you in unique Andalusia. This southern region of Spain is a paradise full of surprises. Hardly any other landscape evokes such fascinating picturesque moments as the Andalusia.

With Flamenco dancers in flowing red dresses, white villages on high hill tops, Moorish palaces, and gloriously dressed bullfighters in full arenas. Experience an incomparable collection of European and Arabic culture, scenic beauty synchronized perfectly with masterful architecture. Today’s Andalusia combines modern life with rich tradition. The developed routes and small roads offer to little traffic through lush overgrown hills, green river valleys, and the wild landscape of the Sierras. Seville and Cordoba are two metropolitan cities rich in spiritual life from the Moorish Andalusia. Travel through time as you navigate the narrow streets, market places,  Alhambra style buildings, the Real Alcazar, and the Mezquita Cathedral.  Andalusian scholars brought light to the darkness of the European Middle Ages with cervezas (beer), tapas, wine, and jamon iberico (finely cured ham). Andalusia is awaiting you!

Dolomites to Lake Garda Cycling Tour

eb_dolomiten-gardaseeThis bicycle tour starts at the foot of the Dolomites, at the highest point of the Pustertal valley. Beautiful and new bike paths lead along the rivers Rienz, Eisack, and the Adige to Rovereto. From there, you will cycle to the northern shore of Lake Garda. Some towns with their arcades still show the typical Tyrolean style. In Trentino, the Tyrolean style is mixed with Italian influences. Monasteries, cathedrals, and castles are located along the way. In Bolzano, the oldest Tyrolean, Ötzi, the man from the ice, is waiting for your visit. Lake Garda offers not only an impressive view but also many opportunities for relaxation after this comfortable cycling tour. Click Here for more information
