Dublin is the capital and largest city of Ireland. Dublin is located at the mouth of the River Liffey and bordered to the South by the Wicklow Mountains. Enjoy some Guinness and take a storehouse tour. Head to the Dublin Zoo and the Literary Pub Crawl Tour. From Dublin you can travel to the Boyne Valley, Trim Castle, Hill of Tara, Strokestown, Roscommon and National Museum of Country Life and experience the lake region loop (Longford, Cavan, Drogheda.)

Take a drive along the south coastal roads to Wexford. Continue south to Waterford stopping in Midleton to take the Jameson Experience Tour and then continue onto Cork. From Cork head to the Great National Commons for a day of hiking. Make sure to stop at the Blarney Castle and gardens. Then it’s onto the Dingle peninsula to enjoy the harbor and day hikes. Travel onto the city of Limerick, drive northwest to explore the Cliffs of Mohr. Travel onto Galway and return from either Shannon or Dublin.

Head to the Library of Trinity College which serves both the Trinity College and the University of Dublin. It is the largest library in Ireland and as a legal deposit or “copyright library”, it has rights to receive material published in the Republic of Ireland.
