Wine Lovers Week

Montepulciano – Cortona – Montalcino – Wine Lover’s experience in Montepulciano includes exploring different areas of the territory.

There is a guided tour of the characteristic medieval village of Montefollonico “The village of Vinsanto”. Guided tour of Pienza, an ideal Renaissance city, the historic center is a UNESCO heritage site, and of the wonderful Piccolomini Palace.

Enjoy a guided tour of the historic center of Montalcino and its medieval fortress from which you will enjoy a splendid view over the Val d’Orcia, the Crete Senesi, up to the hills of the Maremma. Guided tour of several wineries and a guided tour of Cortona, set of several movies, including “Under the Tuscan Sun”.
Visit to a Chianina breeding farm, to discover the largest calves in the
world, with a lunch, or dinner, at the farm based on Chianina meat.

Additional options for extending this tour are to visit the nearby cities of Florence and Rome. Cooking tours are also a great add-on!
