The Neckar and Rhine Rivers region is one of our owners favorite places to explore by bike. Having lived just south in Karlsruhe, she has enjoyed this region often. It’s very scenic on and off the river banks with many cultural highlights.

While Heidelberg is know for a city along the river with the castle ruin and gardens over looking the city. Heidelberg is home to the oldest university town in Germany. Speyer has a beautiful cathedral and city center with many small quaint villages near by. Worms is an ancient imperial city with charm. This tour follows many of the German wine route through the second largest wine region in Germany. The Route is mainly on flat terrain. Only in the vineyards between Worms and Bad Dürkheim are there some slight climbs. More Info
