Steinberg am Rofen, Austria – A jewel nestled between Karwendel, Achensee, and Rofan.

Four fascinating peaks of the Karwendel and Rofan region in the heart of the Tyrol. The historic trails of the Alps are abundant in Wildlife and lay between Munich and Innsbruck. Hiking Tours range between 4 and 7 hours in length with altitudes from 900m to 2.259m.  This area is off the main rails so you’ll want a rental car to get here. That’s a good thing since you will want to stop in many of the villages along the way. Be sure to enjoy a picnic by the Achensee en route to your hotel. This is an easy self-guided tour however if you prefer we have a great connection with local guides.

This tour is supported by a luggage van transfer so non-riders are also welcome. Our tour office can assist with travel insurance, airline, rail, and rental car reservations.
